● Polyester air-variable is what we often call Air Textured Yarn, which was invented by DuPont in the United States. It is characterized by a number of filament loops of different shapes and sizes distributed on the surface of the yarn, which resembles the hairiness of staple fiber yarn; the fabric has similar characteristics to natural fibers, and the filament loops on the surface of the variegated yarn give the fabric a comfortable, puffy and soft feel and a similar appearance to natural fibers.
● Secondly, higher abrasion resistance, ATY's filament loops increase the fabric's resistance to pilling and pilling. The anti-slip properties of the yarn are improved and a matting effect is achieved. It can be used in the printing of garments, home textiles (curtains, sofas, tablecloths, umbrellas, shower curtains, bags) and other products.
